Rainy Camp Morning Survival Guide

Rain at camp is not the enemy. Panic and bad setup are the enemy. If your fly is staked tight, your footprint is tucked in, and your vestibule is organized, a wet morning is just part of the story.
First move is airflow. Crack vents and keep wet gear in the vestibule so condensation does not turn your tent into a steam room. Keep one dry towel and one dry layer in a sealed bag for morale.
Breakfast chaos gets easier with zones: dry sleeping zone, wet gear zone, and cooking zone. You stay happier when your socks are not fighting for space with muddy boots.
